Enlisted Association of the Arkansas National Guard Awards Program
This program recognizes individuals and groups who, by superior performance or by service of a meritorious nature make a major contribution to the well-being of the EAANG and the effectiveness of the Arkansas National Guard
H. Lynn Wassell Leadership Award
Criteria: An individual must have distinguished himself/herself through outstanding leadership accomplishments and abilities demonstrated while serving his/her community, civic and religious organizations, unit of assignment, the Arkansas National Guard and the Enlisted Association of the Arkansas National Guard. The nomination form must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from their commander, supervisor, or any person having knowledge of the nominee’s leadership abilities.
Enlisted Person of the Year Award
Criteria: An individual must have distinguished himself/herself as particularly outstanding in service to the EAANG and the Arkansas National Guard. Superior performance of normal duty will not alone justify this award. An individual must have offered exceptionally outstanding contributions over an extended period of time to clearly merit this award.
Meritorious Service Award
Criteria: An individual must have distinguished himself/herself with an exceptionally meritorious service or act to another individual, group, or his/her country. A single act may merit this award.
Director of the Year Award
Criteria: A District Director must have contributed exceptional service to the EAANG during his/her tenure.
President’s Patriot Award
Criteria: Nominee must have contributed exceptional service to the EAANG. Although a single accomplishment may be deemed a qualification for this award, particular consideration should be given to those individuals who have contributed exceptional service of a sustained nature.
Chairperson of the Year Award
Criteria: A Chairperson must have contributed exceptional service to the EAANG during his/her tenure. Nominations may be made through the Awards Committee to the President as a recommendation only.

100% Unit Membership Award
EAANG Gifts/Memento Items
Criteria: Any individual who is involved with the EAANG on either a one-time or continuous basis for the purpose of assisting in the promotion of its goals and the goals of the Arkansas National Guard. Selection will be made by the President.
